Redesign

About

We rebuild websites for companies whose site was built for a business they no longer are.

Redesign is a one-person studio. We rebuild company websites for businesses that have outgrown what their site describes.

Every engagement starts with an audit, a scored review of the current page. The conclusion might be that a rebuild is not worth it yet, and we say so when that is the case. From there, a redesign rebuilds the site around how the business actually sells, with positioning and structure decided before anything is drawn. A technical repair does only the measurable fixes: slow loads, broken metadata, inaccessible markup, and the structural basics a site either has or does not. You can commission either, or both.

Every figure on this site traces to an audit we ran on a stated date. The process is four steps and you can stop after any of them. The two entries on /work are unsolicited concepts, submitted to the companies they were made for, and labelled as such.

Questions

  1. 01

How long does a redesign take?

Production is fast because the technical foundation is reused across projects. The part that sets the real timeline is content and brand decisions, which need you in the loop.

  2. 02

Will we be able to edit the site ourselves?

Yes, and the editing setup is chosen to match how your team actually works rather than installed by default. Some clients want a full editor, others only ever change a phone number.

  3. 03

How do you decide what is wrong with our current site?

Measurements first: load performance, mobile rendering, metadata, accessibility checks. Judgement is applied on top of those, and stated as judgement. We do not report findings we cannot point at.
